Last March 2006, the government set up a web site to make public a vast archive of Iraqi documents captured during the war that included what the New York Times called a "nuclear primer' because it included about a dozen documents in Arabic that contained "charts, diagrams, equations and lengthy narratives about bomb building. The documents, the experts say, constitute a basic guide to building an atom bomb.

Now fast forward to December 6, 2007 where the Herald International Tribune reports on a Presidental News Conference where Bush insists Iran remains dangerous, saying, “"Iran was dangerous, Iran is dangerous, and Iran will be dangerous if they have the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon,"

An Anonymous source has revealed that the story (the secrets needed to build an atomic bomb that were posted on the White House website "Operation Iraqi Freedom Document Portal", was actually dug up by the New York Times, who first warned the White House without printing it. The way I heard it, the White House ignored them, and left the info on the website up! Eventually the New York Times printed the story, reluctantly. The web site is pulled down. Then the White House said that they (NY times) were traitors for bringing it up!
