Miami joins 50 + cities in "Walk to Save Farm Animals" Sunday October 7th On Sunday, October 7, at 4:30 PM South Florida residents will meet outside Wild Oats at 1020 Alton Road in Miami Beach to join Farm Sanctuary, the nation’s leading farm animal protection organization, for the annual Walk for Farm Animals. Mr. Clucky and his pal Mark Buckley are slated to lead the Miami Walk. This fun and inspiring celebration is being sponsored in over 50 cities across North America. In addition to promoting awareness about inhumane factory farming practices, walkers will raise much needed funds to help sustain and ensure farm animal rescue, protection and advocacy efforts.
