John Timoney's son arrested for trying to buy 400 lbs of Pot

Twenty-five-year-old Sean Timoney, the son of John Timoney, Miami Police Chief and top cop to stifle FTAA protests, was arrested for trying to purchase 400 pounds of Pot from an undercover officer.

For those unfamiliar with Timoney, he gained notoriety for his toughness at NYPD, and went on to lead the Philly police force into battle against those legally protesting the 2000 Republican National Convention. (More info on Timoney)

Fearing mass protests against the November, 2003 Free Trade Americas Agreement (FTAA) meeting, Miami hired him. His counter-protest measures have gained him international recognition and is called the architect of 'The Miami Model' (Great documentary here.)

So, after all he's done to destroy the civil liberties of law-abiding citizens who oppose the oppressive ideas of Free-Trade, Globalization, and the political party who make it possible, here's some payback:

Twenty-five-year-old Sean Timoney was arraigned in U.S. District Court in Albany Wednesday afternoon. He's accused of trying to buy 400 pounds of marijuana.

Federal agents say they busted Timoney and an associate -- Jae Seu -- in a sting operation set up at a hotel in Rockland County.

Officials say the two men brought a duffle bag filled with $450,000 in cash as partial payment for the drugs.
