Truly Nolen Pest Control is Spying on You I just read this article about Truly Nolen Pest Control, you know the guys with the cute cars that look like mice. Turns out they've signed up with the government to spy on you. One of Central Florida's largest pest control companies has been recruited by police to help fight crime, according to Local 6 News. www.local6.com/news/4831973/detail.html
Mr. I have personally known of pest control workers that spy for the landlords on tenants in a addition to doing the job that they are paid to do. I am a homeowner now and it is without a doubt a conflict of interest for pest control companies to spy for anyone especially law enforcement. We need a law that protects us when we hire someone that they are not to discuss a client's personal business about their homes and certainly should not go looking for trouble to report to law enforcement unless there is abuse of children, elderly, disabled or pets that is a just cause. Spying on people is wrong especially when they have contracted that company to provide a service. Letting local, state or federal agencies into the private business of our homes is highly invasive and unconstitutional. It is just plain wrong and it needs to stop. What happens when the police contact a pest control company and ask them to keep an eye on someone and look through their house for evidence or make unscheduled visits to that residence at the request of a third party? Anyone doing this should find a discreet way out of it because it is shameful and that person is making it worse for everyone. |
